Habits & Behaviours

Habits and behaviours such as nail-biting, thumb-sucking, or repetitive actions can be a way for children to self-soothe or cope with stress. These habits can persist or become a focus of concern as children grow.

These behaviours, while often harmless, may impact self-esteem or lead to teasing by peers. They can also indicate underlying stress or anxiety that a child is struggling to manage.

Breaking unwanted habits allows children to build healthy coping mechanisms, fostering self-control and emotional well-being as they grow.

How hypnotherapy and EFT can help:
Hypnotherapy can help children feel calmer and more secure, making it easier to let go of habits that are no longer helpful. EFT provides a tactile, empowering way for children to release tension, offering an alternative coping method that replaces the unwanted behaviour.
